Life insurance for pets??

January 27th, 2008 |

As I mentioned in the post before, I’m getting older and older. I really wish there was some sort of life insurance for pets. I would love to get life insurance quotes.

You know, I’d name my best friend Tina as my beneficiary. She’s just amazing and always brightens up my days. If I had puppies, I would want them to gain something from my passing. It’s only logical but I don’t have none as of now.

Am I planning to in the future? I’m not sure. We’ll see if I find the perfect stud out there. *woof* *wink*

Health Problems with Pets

January 27th, 2008 |

There are so many health problems that both humans and animals can suffer from. One of them that I don’t think dogs get yet is fibromyalgia.

I can’t imagine having that nor would I want anyone in my human family to suffer from it. It seems like a very painful condition that requires a lot of help.

Like humans, dogs can suffer from weak joints. I suffer from that and have to take medication everyday because it seems to be getting worse with each passing year.

You know…I’ll be 10 years old (human years) next month. That’s 70 years old in dog years!! It’s a very long time but I’m enjoying life one day at a time. Don’t think that anything will slow me down. It’s quite the opposite, so WATCH OUT!! *woof*

Overweight Pets a no no!

January 23rd, 2008 |

If you haven’t looked at this national crisis, more and more humans are becoming overweight.

Not just that, but they are also feeding their pets the same thing that they end up eating. This results in some fat cats and dogs which is definitely a problem since we’re not suppose to be overweight.

Just like how it’s bad for humans to be overweight, it’s the same for pets too. I know I know…you’re probably thinking, isn’t there some sort of diet pills for pets?

I highly doubt that, plus I wouldn’t even want to take it anyways. Who knows what’s in there and you never know if it could potentially cause you harm in the long run.

I’d want a doggy treadmill or something to work it all off.

V-Day for Doggies!

January 23rd, 2008 |

Now, if only I had a dog who was a stud then maybe I’d be happy this Valentine’s Day.

Unfortunately, the male dog that I became acquainted with for quite some time, has passed away not too long ago. His name was Joey and he was such a playful dog.

I would of liked to get him a nice Rolex Daytona for this special Valentine’s Day. I’m sure they have some sort of doggy rolex somewhere.

I think us dogs really need more things in the jewelry and accessories department. It seems to be lacking everytime I check out a pet store.

Allergies

January 14th, 2008 |

Sometimes people who own pets and suffer from some pet allergies tend to just need good air purifiers to help their problem.

How do I know? Because that’s exactly what my human owner did. Tina was allergic to animals ever since she was a kid. But once she set her eyes on me, she didn’t care about the allergies. She fought them until her allergies to dogs became immune.

And I’m so thankful for that because I’m in such a loving home with wonderful people.

Get in shape

December 25th, 2007 |

As a dog, I don’t see many other pets who suffer from obese like humans do. I’m not saying that there aren’t any because I know of some who actually are, I’m just saying there are far less than humans.

Maybe everyone should start taking things like slimquick which can help you lose weight. I’m sure losing fifteen pounds would help anyone!!

Or you can be like most dogs where we just go out for walks many times a day. That always works!!

Huge dogs? I don’t think so!

December 14th, 2007 |

Have you ever seen a dog who’s been taking bodybuilding supplements? Of course you haven’t. We aren’t that stupid!!

Come on…just look at the humans who do take those sort of things. They are HUGE!!! I don’t know a single dog who would want to take supplements to make them stronger. Most of us are content just the way we are.

I know I don’t want to be able different than the way I am. I love me! *woof woof*

All cats want to be dogs

A dog civilization?

November 16th, 2007 |

Why isn’t the dog species as huge as the human species?? Why aren’t humans our pets instead? How come there aren’t enough stores that sell doggy chemises??

These questions and a lot more cross my mind all the time. It would be really nice to see a dog society grow on it’s own and form a little civilization. I’m sure we would get along a lot better than some humans I have come across.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see for the future. Who knows what will happen…
