Stupid cough

February 29th, 2008 |

I’m tired and sick…I just don’t overall feel good. The thing that sucks is that I just got over a stupid cold about a week ago. Then of course, I somehow get it once again. This time it’s even worse in regards to my cough.

I just want to lounge around and stay home all day. Sadly I can’t because I work. *sigh* …. seriously…. why can’t I just win the lottery so I can stay home and don’t have to worry about working. Grr….

Online shopping…too addicting!!!

February 23rd, 2008 |

I am seriously spending way too much money online. It seems that everyday I’m buying new things on the web. The worst part is, I can’t stop!! Seriously…I end up shopping on Amazon, Ebay, and even some local tech shops in my area. I CAN’T STOP!!!!!!!

I swear…everyday this week I purchased something. Most of it has been movies, tv box sets, beads, and other miscellaneous items. At one time I even thought about purchasing an iPod Nano and an iPod Shuffle at the same time. Don’t ask me what I’ll need both for but I would of seriously bought it if FutureShop.ca wasn’t sold out of it online.

Someone smack me please….I can’t be spending all this money for no good reason. *sigh*

My crochet basket

February 12th, 2008 |

Just last week, I decided to pull out all my crochet items. Of course I had stored them away in a bag that I placed in a drawer.

After getting some inspiration to start crocheting a blanket, I decided it’s time for me to put my yarns and hooks somewhere safe. That’s why I bought the basket you see in the photo off to the side.

Isn’t it pretty?? I thought so which is why I purchased it from Wal-Mart for only $10. Not too bad for a basket that size.

Now I have somewhere safe where I can put my yarns, hooks, patterns, and other things related. There they will be kept safe and tidy…and of course in reach which is why I placed it right next to the television. After all, the best time to crochet is when you are sitting in front of the tv and watching some talk shows…well, more like listening to them. LOL!

Dog & Nephew = best buds!

February 11th, 2008 |

My dog and my nephew have been getting along really great. He stares at her all the time. Whenever I hold him, I let him pet her if she’s near me. Of course he can’t pet her himself because he’s only three months old, but I do the petting for him by holding his hand and gently stroking her fur.

Even my dog will sniff his face and curl up next to him. It’s sooo cute!! These photos show it all. Best buds?? I think so. LOL!!

No time for anything!!

February 11th, 2008 |

It’s been so crazy at work. I’m working so many hours in a week…more than what I expected for someone who just started. Even this week I have a million hours to do too. Not that I’m complaining too much because the money is great…but what sucks is the fact that this job is so damn repetitive and I have to deal with crazy people in the public. Well…not all of them are crazy…just some. LOL!

Working and trying to maintain my online life is proving to be slightly difficult. I barely have time to come online and do anything and when I do, I end up checking my rss feeds, emails, and doing a few assignments for a company I do paid posting for. Other than that, I don’t have time to blog hop like I normally did, respond to comments, chat on msn, play the sims 2, or other things too. There’s just no time.

Then on top of all that, I enjoy to read. I have a backlog of at least 10 books that I have purchased and are waiting to be read. I even started a few without finishing the prior ones. I tend to do that when the plot gets boring in one book. LOL! One more thing that has been occupying my time, is that I’m making a blanket. I’m crocheting it all by myself. Heehee…so obviously that will take a while and I end up doing it in front of the tv while I listen and glance at what’s playing.

So as you can see, there’s just no time for anything anymore. *sigh*

Bought a laptop…but not for me!

February 11th, 2008 |

I’m so glad we have wireless internet in our house. I don’t need any kind of Cat6 ethernet cable or anything like that for my computer to be connected to the web…which by the way, is totally awesome!!

Now, I just have to buy my own laptop. Of course the first laptop I did purchase just last month, wasn’t even for me. I know…that totally sucks. But, the facial expression of someone dear to me will be worth it.

Really…I bought it for my younger sister Tanya. She’s going to be ecstatic once she opens it up. I even got her a printer and a wireless router also. Her birthday is next Sunday. It’s going to be totally AWESOME!! I can’t wait!!

Change it up a bit

February 11th, 2008 |

Websites such as this directbuy one have plenty of information for readers in regards to home furnishings.

Now why would I be interested in a site like that? Well, the other day I have a dream. More like a daydream while I was crocheting in our small living room. It was really weird and I just thought about redecorating that entire room with brand new furnishings.

I have it all planned out in my mind and can literally visualize how I want it. I’m sure my parents won’t mind if I were to buy new stuff for that room. I completely want to change it up as it’s so dull and boring.

We’ll see how that home project gets going because first I have to save up some cash.

Moving would be nice

February 9th, 2008 |

Everyone moves at sometime or another in their lives. I keep telling my parents to lets move house soon. It’s not like I don’t like our house (after all, it was custom built to our liking), it’s just so boring after awhile.

I always look into what’s for sale and even sometimes come across some real estate Branson.

I personally don’t know where my family would move to, but I would love to move out into the country instead of living in the city. My parents on the other hand like the opposite. *sigh*

Endless Possibilities

February 9th, 2008 |

I’m sooo looking forward to getting my own car…hopefully this year. Of course I want to totally pimp it out with chrome accessories, nice interior, bottom lights, and a customer steering wheel.

Ohhh the possibilities could be endless.

Of course I have to start learning how to save my money properly. I spend way too much each month and I don’t know why I haven’t been able to save properly.

Traveling would be nice!

January 27th, 2008 |

It would be nice to travel the world. There are so many places I’d love to visit. Some of them include Japan, Europe, Hawaii, and even the Outer Banks.

Of course you have to have the money to do so, which I currently don’t at the moment. My money is being used to save up for either a car or for getting my own place (probably renting though).

It would be nice to get a penthouse suite. I saw some gorgeous ones in my city. They are way out of my price range, but man…they are AMAZING!!!

If I won the lotto, I’d probably make my own building and rent out places for other people. Everything luxurious though. I ain’t cheap you know. LOL!

Living like a celebrity

January 27th, 2008 |

One of the blogs I own is called “Girls Can Dream”. I personally dream of wealth almost everyday. Finances are constantly on my mind so I can keep track of what I can afford and what I can do without for the time buying.

Sometimes, and I’m sure everyone has dreamed this, it would be nice to have as much money as celebrities. Heck, I would go on a shopping spree buying jewelry, clothes, luxury watches, and a whole bunch of other things.

It would be nice to win the lottery and have the advantage of buying anything you want. *sigh* … one day I guess.

Owning a small business

January 27th, 2008 |

Among many of the things I wish to accomplish in this lifetime, one of them is owning my own business. Which business? I have no clue as of yet but it is something I want to do in the future.

Of course after a few years of owning a business, you should have a Small business valuation. That way, you can see just how much your business is really worth and if you could make a profit of selling it.

Most people consider their business their pride and joy. I might too if I loved it a lot. But, we’ll see how that goes in the future.

Vegas Baby!!

January 27th, 2008 |

I’m sure everyone has their own list of places their want to visit in their life. One of mine is Las Vegas!!

Why Vegas??? Well, I would love to experience the night life their have there, plus check in at a Vegas hotel and visit some casinos. Come on…you never know when you’ll win the jackpot!!

Vegas seems like a lot of fun, especially if you have money to waste. So for now, I won’t be going anytime soon as I have no money to waste. But I’m definitely going sometime in the future!!

Wireless is the way to go!

January 27th, 2008 |

While I was cleaning my room the other day, I noticed that everything (electronically) had wires. Ya I know…it was a blonde moment, but seriously. The wires are all sloppy looking and take up room themselves.

Why isn’t everything wireless yet?? Then I wouldn’t have any cables or wires sticking out or taking up room everywhere.

Once I get my own place to live, I’ll be looking forward to having everything completely wireless (as long as the technology for the specified items exist). Now that would look so much neater than what I have now.

Finding the perfect dress

January 27th, 2008 |

My sister is getting married this year. She already has bought her wedding dress and it looks wonderful!! I think she even got something that resembles corsets that she puts under her dress. I don’t know the right name for it but it’s suppose to make thinner in the mid section.

We still have to get the bridesmaids dresses out of the way. It seems everyone has their own tastes which varies. I personally don’t want to wear a skimpy dress but my other sister likes wearing something like that.

So as you can see, getting the perfect bridesmaids dresses is proving to be difficult.
