Headaches due to my new job!

January 27th, 2008 |

For the majority of my life, I never really got a migraine or even headaches. Thus, I never had to take an aspirin or other kind of head medications.

Now that I started my new job, I have to do A LOT of talking on the phones and answering questions to people. I find myself coming home with a headache all the time now.

It’s really weird. I personally don’t like taking medication for anything and believe your body can heal itself, but man…these headaches are a pain in the ass and not something I’m used to.

Lucky for me, I have aspirin at home. I have a feeling that bottle will be used A LOT in the coming months.

Crazy dinner subjects

December 28th, 2007 |

I remember a time in my life when my parents just talked about all kinds of insurance, even high risk life insurance. It was a crazy period when a lot was happening involving medical health.

Thankfully, those days are over and my parents don’t have to worry about subjects like that. At least now at dinner time we talk about what’s going on in everyone’s lives, what’s everyone’s plans for the day, and even sometimes about things in the news. It’s a great change from where we were about five years ago.

What does your family talk about at dinner?

Medical jewelry is important!

December 16th, 2007 |

Many people suffer from allergies and other medical conditions. That’s why it’s important to have and wear medical jewelry just in case something happens.

When I was in high school, there were many teens that wore things like this. Some even had eppy pens with them at all times. It’s better to be safe and sorry. I’m pretty sure all the teachers knew which students had what conditions. After all, who would try to help the student is something happens? Most likely the teacher will spring into action and take charge of the situation.

That’s when having these medical bracelets or other jewelry comes in handy.
