My parents were making a few renovations not too long ago. The main thing was the kitchen downstairs. They hired someone to install an entire kitchen cabinet set, decorated the entire kitchen, and even got some faucets which I think were actually Danze faucets.
Now the kitchen is completed and it looks lovely. We usually have big family gatherings downstairs in this kitchen. It works out really great because there’s plenty of room too!
The only thing I would love to have it a kitchen island. I think those are too cool and would love to have one. Oh well…maybe next time.

I’ve been really thinking about getting back in the game and starting to exercise again. I’m also looking into getting strength equipment and other things that I can use at home.
Of course I’m going to have to make room around here so I can fit some exercise equipment in my house. It seems every room here is packed with things and there’s not enough room for anything. *sigh*
When is spring cleaning again?? I’ll need an entire weekend to do that. LOL!

There are some things I just absolutely love about the house we are living in, but then there are some I don’t. Even though our house was a brand new lot when we moved in about 10 years ago, I still miss some stuff from our old house.
The major I thing I really miss is the enormous backyard we had. There was so much room to do all sorts of things and the outdoor lighting was always superb. Now our backyard is three quarters of what it used to be and to me, that’s quite a difference.
I can’t add a large pool in the backyard we have now because there isn’t enough room with the peach tree and garden we have. At our old house, I easily fit one without any hassles. This is one of the things I really don’t like because I want a huge pool. Arggh…
And no…my parents don’t want to move. *sigh*

Most people who own their own homes have an upstairs where you have to literally walk up stairs. I’m sure EVERYONE has that.
I can’t imagine what it’s like for someone who can’t walk all that great or even can’t walk at all!! Thank goodness for inventions like a stair lift where they can easily get up to the next level of their homes.
Can you imagine just living on one floor of your house if you do have a functional upstairs area too?? It’s crazy!!

When is it time for you to buy a new mattress? I wonder that sometimes. The one I have now is really great and shapes to your own body, but it’s getting kind of flat now.
The most annoying part is that it squeaks at the top part. The way I sleep, which really is weird since most people sleep in the traditional position, it squeaks A LOT!!. (I sleep on the top part but horizontal instead of vertically)…I know weird. LOL!
So the top part is always making noise whenever I move. It gets really annoying!! >_<

The new year is coming up really soon. What are your resolutions? Are there any big changes going to happen?
From getting these answers from people close to me, it seems that 1 out of 3 are planning on moving. Isn’t that crazy?? I couldn’t believe it but many people I know are set on making this change in 2008.
Just look at my family. My older sister has already purchased her own house and is moving into it in the new year. Then there’s my younger sister who is planning on moving to an apartment closer to home.
Of course many people end up hiring trucks from moving companies. If you are from NY, you might want to see if this New York Moving Company is right for your move!
I’m sure my sisters won’t be hiring moving trucks, simply because we have a huge van that can easily move things to and from home. That’s what will probably happen for us.

I finally got around to snapping some Christmas related photos in my house. I took pictures of our tree, ornaments, and some other decor. The photos turned out really nice. Here they are below.

Whenever I move around on my bed, my mattress squeaks. It gets really REALLY annoying because it’s so damn loud. Especially at the top part where I like to sleep sideways. Yes, I’m weird like that and don’t like to sleep the traditional way in a bed. Haha
Maybe it’s a sign for me to get a new foam mattress or something. I don’t know but it’s getting really bad because I move around a lot in my bed. So just imagine…squeak, squeak, and more squeaking. LOL!

As I mentioned in some of my other blogs, my older sister bought a brand new house (which is currently being built). She and her finance don’t move in until January.
They are already being all kinds of furniture ranging from bedroom, living room, and office furniture. I would be to if you’re moving into your own place in about a month. You got to get everything organized and ready.
Of course moving into a house without any furniture would be kind of weird. ECHO ECHO ECHO…LOL! I’m sure that’s what you’ll be hearing.
Anyways, I can’t wait to check out her new place. I have yet to even see it. Of course I’ll help her on moving day!

During the summertime I love checking out the things my father has in the shed and his toolbox. I’m sure some of his stuff is in need of power supply repair, but he may not even know it.
The shed is a mess itself. There’s a bunch of benches, picnic table, chairs, tools, and other crap that have been put away for the winter. All you can do is open the door. You can’t walk in or anything. It’s crazy. LOL!
It would be nice if we had a bigger backyard like we did at the old house. Our backyard was pretty huge before and we could fit a nice huge shed. Not anymore though.
Sometimes, I really dislike where my parents picked to live. *sigh*

Thinking about my previous post, I may have to check out this store that sells products seen on tv. You can visit the store too if you click here.
There’s also this other store in my local mall that has ‘as seen on tv’ products. I might stop by and take a look. Have the time they have really interesting things. Heck, I absolutely love the one touch can opener. My parents bought one awhile ago and it’s been the best thing ever.
I can’t open cans with those regular can openers. I can never get it right and it ends up messing up the can instead. LOL! Thank goodness for the person who invented the one touch one. THANK YOU!! LOL!

When we moved into our brand new house about nine years ago, everything was perfect. No cracks, no dents, nothing that needed to be fixed. After all, it was brand new.
After all these years, we are now seeing little things here and there that need to be fixed. One of which is the concrete garage floor we have. It’s getting all cracked and worn out and is really in need of getting fixed. That’s one of the reasons why I have told my dad to start looking for businesses that specialize in garage floors and can fix this ordeal.
CarGuyGarage.com can do just that. They have all the information and products we need to fix our garage floor. I just have to convince my dad of buying things online that he needs. He’s kind of old fashioned and prefers to buy it in a store rather than online. So I’ve got quite the convincing to do. LOL!
