To track a vehicle…

May 31st, 2008 |

A lot of times I’ll wake up in the morning and not know where my parents are. They don’t leave a note mentioning their going shopping or to another city, and they don’t have cell phones so I can’t call them. That’s when I need something like some sort of vehicle tracking system. That way I can know where they are or are heading to. It sure as heck would make me worry less!

I just spent $700 in a mere 10 minutes!!

May 27th, 2008 |

I went ahead and purchased the $500 flash for my camera along with a Hoya UV Filter and a Hoya Infrared filter. I am so gonna bite the dust come next month. My credit card bill is sky high right now and I don’t even have enough funds to pay it off.

So why did I go ahead and make this purchase? I’ve been needing to get it for awhile now and then even in my photography class today, my teacher mentioned to bring our cameras & flash next week since we were going to do activities with them. Well…I don’t have one. I think I was the only one who didn’t have one. So screw that since I wasn’t going to be left out.

So tonight, I hopped online and bought it with express next day delivery. So I should be getting the flash and UV filter on Thursday. I ordered the infrared filter from another store at regular shipping rate, so it will most likely be here next week which is fine since I don’t really need it asap like I do with the flash.

Um…ya…almost $700 in a mere 10 minutes. Can you believe it? I’m still sitting here dumbfounded that I just spent that much in a short time. Oh well…I’ll be working EXTRA HARD in the next few weeks with online stuff so I can pay it off…not to mention the shit I ALREADY have on my credit card.

Hello world!

Go Shopping Right From Your Own Home!!

May 25th, 2008 |

Anyone who knows me, knows that I absolutely love shopping. In fact, I’m having trouble to actually not head off to the mall or shop online. It’s quite difficult especially when you come across great websites such as Shopping.com.

Not only can you get clothes, jewelry, computers, and appliances, but you can also get all types of furniture too!! All from the click of a button.

You don’t have to get dressed, drive, and walk around. Nope…it’s all done right from the comfort of your own home via the internet. To me, that’s the best way to shop since you can take your time and find awesome products.

So what are you waiting for? You’re already on the internet if you are reading this post, so head on over to Shopping.com to see what great things you can snatch up at bargain prices!!

Technology in your home

May 25th, 2008 |

Have you ever looked around your home to notice all of the gadgets and other technology related things you own? I can’t even count it all because there is sooo many in my home. To name a few:

  • computers
  • iPods
  • cameras
  • tvs
  • stereos
  • cell phones
  • etc

The list can go on and on. What a crazy world we live in. I wonder what other things we’ll have in 10 years.

Do YOU Love “The Simpsons”???

May 25th, 2008 |

If you love watching “The Simpsons”, then check out these videos below that feature the cast of the show. Some parts are extremely funny and I can’t believe the amount of characters some of the actors are in the show. It’s pretty amazing and definitely talented!! (there are five parts in total but the last three are after the jump).

Have to work today :-(

May 24th, 2008 |

My Saturday morning has been a little bit slow. I’ve just been getting ready to head off to work but decided to pop in and check a few things online. The weather is actually quite nice outside which totally sucks because I have to work. This always happens…nice weather when I have to work.

Anyways, I’m just glad I’m working with a great friend of mine, Roz. Hopefully time will pass by much quicker having her there so we can talk. LOL!

Well, I gotta go finish getting ready and then it’s off to work. Cya laterz!!

Trying to have a baby but can’t? Help is here!

Many couples today face the challenge of not being able to have children naturally. Some of them make the decision of adopting while others look at what new science technologies has to offer.

IVF (in vitro fertilization) is one of these new science technologies. It is also on the rise more than ever as couples learn of the treatment. Many of these couples end up with double the bundance of joy because of multiple pregnancies.

At the In Vitro Fertilization and PGD center in Chicago and Naperville, Illinois, they obtain the highest IVF pregnancy rates with the lowest risk for multiple pregnancy. That is really pleasant to hear since some couples only want one biological child or they can’t provide for a second one. You can even get IVF insurance which can help with the costs of the treatment. Just ask one of the staff there for more information and I’m sure they’d be glad to lend you a hand.

If you or anyone you know wants to have a biological child but can’t naturally, contact Dr. Randy Morris, a fertility specialist who helps couples understand and resolve infertility.

So much to buy…

May 24th, 2008 |

I have so much things I need to buy for my camera and I don’t have any money for it now. Sad, I know…I just wish I could win some $$ from the lotto…even $5000 would allow me to get the things I need.

Some of the stuff I want to get include:

  • wireless flash - approx $530
  • macro lens - approx $530
  • camera backpack - approx $150
  • various filters - approx $200
  • and other things

I really wish I had the money to get these things. The problem is I’m not getting enough hours at work which is alright since I get time to do things in my life, but it also sucks since I can’t afford to buy any of these goodies yet. I’ll just have to wait a month or so before I can get them.

Want to get rid of a few pounds & cellulite?

Technology is ever changing and really impressive. Just look at this Infrared Body Wrap System which is now being used in dayspas and salons.

What does it do?

  • can help you lose up to eight pounds per treatment
  • it helps reduce the appearance of cellulite
  • heat therapy for pain and muscle relief
  • and so much more!!

It really is amazing!! This system is currently in Europe and the United States so you can easily get the treatment as well.

Ipod Shuffle

May 23rd, 2008 |

I haven’t been blogging on here too much lately. The reason? I’m so busy with a lot of other projects, plus my daily life. There’s not enough hours in a day!!

I recently got an iPod shuffle. You’re probably wondering, “Wait, didn’t you want the iPod Nano?” Yup I did, but I decided I don’t really need it at this point. So I settled for the shuffle since all I need is to hear music. Another factor in me choosing the iPod shuffle is because it can be clipped onto anything. I absolutely love that because I end up clipping it everywhere. It’s so handy too!!

Plus, I got the iPod shuffle for only $59.99 for the 2GB which isn’t bad at all!! I absolutely love it!!

6 months going on 7

May 23rd, 2008 |

I can’t believe how quickly my nephew is growing. Every time I hold him, it feels like he’s so long and his legs just hang off to the side. He’s definitely going to be a tall kid. Have I mentioned that he tries to crawl now. He goes backwards which is hilarious to see. He also flips over really fast too.

The other day I had him on my bed and he kept flipping over and over until he was at the edge of my bed. It was crazy! LOL! He moves around so much now and even tries to follow my dog (which he obviously can’t yet since he can’t crawl forwards). LOL! Anyways, I took some recent photos of him. You can see them below.

Walking down memory lane…

May 22nd, 2008 |

Crazy how times change. A flash of memories came back to me just a second ago.

  • A few years ago I had a great site - Darkmis29.com where I provided graphics, web templates, and much more to visitors. It was pretty popular. Where is it now? It’s gone.
  • I remember being hosted by VistaPages and being pissed off near the end of my hosting term with them. Won’t be going back, that’s for sure!
  • I remember spending hours plugging my websites on plugboards.
  • I remember joining cam portals and thinking it was cool.

I remember watching anime 24/7 all in Japanese with English subtitles.

Oh the memories…

Have you detoxified your body lately?

May 21st, 2008 |

Every couple of weeks, I always end up hearing about somebody doing Colon Cleansing. It’s actually really weird the people I heard of doing it, don’t even know each other.

I guess people are trying to live healthier lifestyles and what better way to start it off just by getting rid of the toxins that are currently in your colon. Just imagine the amount of food you eat throughout a year. Now times that by how old you are. Just think of all the buildup that is currently in your colon after all those years. Plenty, that’s for sure.

I personally think that we should detoxify our body at least once a year. I haven’t done it yet myself, but I sure as heck am planning to. Well, that will happen when I’m completely off work and don’t have to leave the house because I’d need a bathroom around me asap. LOL!

I remember my dad telling me about this guy he works worth who ended up buying some sort of liquid that he drank to clean out his colon. And it sure did work. Don’t ask me how they came about this conversation, but the guy actually told my father about his bathroom visits and how nasty the smell was. Yes, you can gag now because I sure as heck did too!! LOL!

I’d rather endure the smell rather than have all that crap in you, building up over time. So…when are YOU cleaning out your colon?

Photographing Objects

May 21st, 2008 |

One thing I love photographing are objects. After all, they don’t move unless you move them and you can take as many pictures of it until you get it right and it doesn’t get tired. LOL!

Check out two photos I took of objects below.
