A Woman’s Diary

I have been thinking alot about my life and where I want to be in five years. For starters, I know I want to be out and living on my own. I’ll be 22 years old this October and I think it’s about time I move out of my parents house and into my own apartment. I was planning on moving out last year when our relationships were at practically nothing and no one was getting along, but that soon changed. My reason for moving out this time isn’t because of relationships. It’s because at one point you just feel as though you have to leave the “nest”.

I have been looking around online at different places and the costs. I think I better plan wisely with my finances and balancing my school life before I make that step. I definitely know that I will need a full-time job and an apartment where they allow animals because I can’t live without them…plus I want a cat since my parents won’t allow one in their house.

One thing for sure is that I don’t want a roommate. I’ve seen way too many living arrangements like that, that end up with lawsuits and broken friendships. I sure as heck don’t want any of those problems in my life. Anyways, I better take things one step at a time and definitely write down my goals, wants, and look into something I can afford and maintain.

It’s been awhile since I last updated. If you’re wondering what is up with my internet problems, lets just say that I’m still waiting for the cable internet to get installed and have just settled for a month of dial-up. It beats having no internet at all.

Anyways, this past weekend we threw a baby shower for my younger sister Tanya. We played a few different games that everyone participated in. It was really fun and we all had a blast!!! Here are some photos from the day.

We are back finally. Even though we have dial-up for the time being, it’s better than nothing. More updates are coming soon about my doggy life. Plus, photographs!! Bow-wow for now!

I’m finally back online with the internet working at home. It’s not the cable yet, but I have settled for dial-up until the problem with the cable internet is fixed.

I decided to give this place a face lift since it looked so dark and gloomy. Well with this theme, it’s definitely the opposite. LOL. Thanks Teresa for the lovely theme.

Well, I haven’t got my cable internet setup yet which is driving me insane. My current provider will be done and over with this Friday August 3rd. So I’m not sure if I’ll have internet connection at all during that day. This completely sucks since I haven’t gotten a call back from the cable company even though we called a few times.

What happened was that I made a web order, received a phone call, and set up an appointment on July 21. The guy came to hook up the internet but ran into a problem since there was no cable connection coming in our house. The problem was that about 8 years ago we had a power surge because of the construction of building a house beside ours. Somehow they cut power and cable lines. At the time we didn’t know the cable lines were messed up since we had satellite tv.

So then the guy said that he had to put in a report and his manager would call the following Monday. Nobody called…so we called customer service. They said someone was suppose to call and put in another report. Nobody has called at all and I need the cable lines fixed outside in order to get cable internet inside. *what a headache*

Anyways, since the problem hasn’t been resolved yet, I won’t be able to update my websites at all. So consider this the last update until I get the cable internet working in my house. I’m putting up the twitter updates on my other blog just to keep you all informed on what on earth is happening. If you want to read all my tweets, you can check out my twitter page. Bye for now.
